Over 40 fantastic creative names were posted on our Facebook page to name the YELLOW bottle.
With the decision to choose just one name being too difficult all names went into a draw and the winner was Louise Johnson from QLD with

CATE RUBY LOLLIPOPS & POPSICLES
This was the very 1st attempt to film and produce a short clip of Cate Ruby for the Australian American Express competition ‘Room for Thought’. The competition was to transform a huge room for the public to visit and enjoy in one of three categories, I chose Fashion which was judged by pyjama king Peter Alexander. My thought was that nail polish colour is an essential part of fashion adding the finishing touch to any outfit. It is one of the few areas of fashion that any shape, size or coloured person can wear. My room was to be filled with sparkling Cate Ruby bottles, candy, lollipop & popsicle props to fit in with the S/S 11/12 campaign ‘Lollipops & Popsicles’. A room where anyone could walk in off the street and sit in a mini manicure booth for a quick colour change on their nails. A room so vibrant, colourful and full of energy you would walk away feeling fashionably ‘polished’!Unfortunately Cate didn’t make the cut BUT had lots of fun making it which led to my next clip......

So very proud of this clip and had heaps of fun making it. Lollipops & Popsicles is the theme of my Spring/Summer 11/12 campaign. It’s all about the colour! There was no better way to introduce the new shades to the rest of the collection than to star Cate Ruby in her very own fashion show. This clip stars the 3 new shades and features colour blocking using colours from the current Cate Ruby range. Colour blocking is going to be ‘HOT’ this summer and the combinations are endless!
